Well once again in 4 months the SAO birthday will come and I was thinking like last time we should revamp our visual, if the second season hasn't been announced why not go with a character background with the entire cast if not possible. (Well if the second season is announced we can level it up to GGO but honestly I think it will air in the fall season going on my gut)
I found one candidate but there are probably better I'll see if I can't find one that may work.
Still I plan on once again having the SAO Birthday Extravaganza again I want to go all out and I'll prepare a couple of tricks as well, like a double feature of pages like last time but with different characters, I have a plan for that so don't worry. I'll prepare a speech as well, and if you have any ideas please tell me I'll also talk to TUSF about some temp alterations to chat for the Birthday month period and any other parts that could be used to liven up the wikia.
Well if GGO is announced before the birthday then we have a good chance that an official photo will pop up that can be used. Still I rather have an adjustable plan then a plan based on "ifs" so I'll look through and see if there are other photo candidates.
Damn that was the photo we were debating, also not sure if the no fan-art rule is applicable to the background maybe, and the other non-official areas of the wikia in that way. This is a grey area, that hasn't been addressed, are places like the background official SAO stuff or common domain like a user page.
Don't know. But I'd personally avoid using unofficial images for the background or non-personal pages to avoid confusion and some people thinking that the image is official just because we're using it as our background.
Hmm, unless we can't hybridize the code to be browser selective, we may have to, I wish we had a check-box feature that allowed for us to turn it on or off depending on user preference like the auto-refresh feature, but if that really is the case then we will have to discontinue the Yui cursor.
Is it really a problem? cause if it gets in the way of editing then having the cursor is deemed bad (cause this wikia lives and dies by editing and all obstacles to that are the enemies) until a fix can be developed.
I talked to TUSF about changing the font color of the infoboxes to something else than white, because the contrast to the bright green wasn't nice. We discussed it and decided to use either black or blue, and we settled for a blue (#6495ed).
The navbar has it black, so I'm thinking of changing the infobox to black too. More importantly, the font color of the headings for wikitables still uses white. I tried to contact TUSF to change it, but he doesn't respond. Could you take over this task?
