Post the vandals here and they will be judged and smited.
For admins when I'm not here and as a suggestion guide: (yes you can ban however long you like but please be reasonable and fair, as for personal attacks on people that is non-negotiable)
wrongful information submit (Accidental) - warning and advising
1st wrongful information submit (intentional) - three dayban
2nd " " - weekly ban
3rd " " - monthly ban
1st outright vandalism of pages - tri-monthly ban
2nd " " - yearly ban
Attacking a wikia user or vandalizing user page - 3 year ban
Note: there must be proof of this and it must be enforced I have zero tolerance for personal attacks on people over the net, no matter who does it. You are allowed to criticize a person's action like if they make mistakes but no cursing out a person, trolling, or harassment will be tolerated.
past the year ban max sentence is applied at 3 years, other offenses judged as vandalism should either get a 3 day or weekly ban left up to admin discretion.
Did not even notice that it was gone... though I don't check all activity and there wasn't such a troll vandal before... kinda wish there was a warning about a whole topic being removed by some random new guy -_-
Am I psychic or something!! I think you're embellishing a bit on that point, but whatever I guess I can agree with that point, still I can smite vandals if I see them. (turns out tsukkomi's don't do well in text either)
Considering my reasons listed in Thread:28954 I have 95% certainty thinking that person is an advertiser . Hope admins noted if the one discussed there act further like it then action should probably be taken..
True but the possibility that they have multiple accounts and since you and C9 are commonly in chat I figure this is the best way to protect users, chat isn't my domain but rather TUSF, still C9 would count as a regular editor and he is no. 4 so he gets privileges.
Annihilation! I do not tolerate messing with other users on this wikia. Also do not chat or comment or anything else on this thread this is meant to report vandals and confirm they have been dealt with.
Last anime episode adapting Prologue II and Interlude I and the next season beginning with Prologue I... That's a possibility... and both the season end and the season beginning would drive people mad... K, both pages are now protected.
Yeah I can imagine, but you should at least send a messaged warning for non-content vandalism because those are the ones that can be contested and a clear message about why they were banned is needed.
Before you say the reason was included in the block, this allows for a line of communication which can either lead to a rational explanation for actions which then can be worked out positively or a lashing out in which case we can be assured that we were right to ban him.
You can't really contest spamming THIS blantant. Especially if you're posting suspicious links to external sites. "Spamming external links" is listed as among the most common ban reasons on the block window. I don't see the need to send a message for such a ban reason. For regular spamming, I do give multiple warnings before taking administrative action, unless the offense is too major.
True but an open line of communication can lead to understanding which can lead to people helping the wikia, I'd rather make friends then enemies, and turn enemies into either non-participants or active helpers. Well I think people tend to respond well to sincerity, and everytime we do get vandals like that I want to at least try and resolve the issue they have whether it is directly stated or they are attacking an indirect agenda.
You know, telling me to find vandals myself is pretty redundant. I do check through the wiki activity anyway. It would be more meaningful to post here if you listed the vandals here to save me the trouble of going theough the activity...
