  • The game image categories are source-based categories, not content-based categories. In other words, a game image category is used when an image is taken from a game itself (e.g. a screenshot). If you take an image from an official site, you must categorise it under "Official Site Images" rather than the game image categories no matter what the content of the image is. If the official site image is teasing in-game images, then the game image categories might be used because the image can technically be found in the game. But logos, promotional art, character designs etc. go under the official site category.

    • Sounds good to me, though, who should make the change, since it seems the original editor (146.198.81.126) doesn't seem to be around.

    • It really doesn't matter who changes it. Just make the change yourself.

  • I'm not sure if I've told you this or not before, but in case I didn't, we do not allow speculation on articles. Especially since you add a reference as if it was already a proven fact. Any information on an article should be verified by an official source. Even if the silhouette is obviously Lux's, until Dengeki or another official source confirms it, we cannot claim who the character is on an article, as there's always the chance, albeit small, that the character is someone else who just looks like Lux.

  • Only the two images of Kirito and Asuna dressing as characters from God Eater are images of the characters in Lost Song (the costumes will be available in the game). The third image that features all four characters is a bonus "clear file" given to those who purchase either of the two games while supplies last.

  • Just a reminder that you should avoid consecutive edits on the same page, since people like me might want find somethin to edit while looking at your edit and your constant edit conflicting becomes annoying. That and it becomes harder for me to track the edits when the feed merges them all into one.

  • Please avoid using spaces in reference name tags. Such reference names will only work if the name tag is surrounded with quotation marks, while the regular editors frequently omit the quotation marks, as non-spaced names still work without it and it requires less typing this way.

  • Why does http://swordartonline.wikia.com/wiki/File:LS_Sky_City_Line.png have a border when the original Dengeki image doesn't?

  • In case you didn't know, I'm this wiki's feed camper and self-proclaimed edit quality manager, so I tend to lecture new editors on how to improve their editing style. After seeing your recent edits, I would like to point out a few things:

    • Don't make tons of consecutive edits on the same page in a row. 1) Someone else (e.g. me) might be going through your edits and correcting them and your constant editing will result in edit conflicting anyone else who's editing the page and those conflicts are really annoying. 2) You spam the edit history and my email (I get notified about any edits on the wiki by email). 3) It makes it hard you find a specific edit to refer to when I need to make a discussion or message the editor about something.
    • For some reason, you're adding unnecessary line breaks (e.g. http://swordartonline.wikia.com/wiki/Sword_Art_Online_(series)?diff=prev&oldid=99333). You should check on what's causing it as line breaks shouldn't be used like that.
    • Don't add unnecessary information. The information about the PS3 choice might work in a trivia section, but is just plain random on the game main page.
    • Information should be added in relevant places. If the release is mentioned in one paragraph, then don't make another paragraph to mention the release in some other region.
    • "At a pre-event press conference held at Game Start 2014 on the 24th of October 2014" - that's what a reference should be used for unless it's especially important to have it with the rest of the text.
    • The standard date format on the wiki is [month] [day], [year] (e.g. October 24, 2014). Please keep it uniform on articles.
